Caring For Your Linen is Easy Breezy - Here's Our Top Tips
Our Breeze Linen is made from the highest quality 100% certified French Flax - this means that your Amurelle bedding sets will last and last. In addition pure linen bedding innately gets better with time - so more sleeps equals even softer bed sheets!
Like most things in life, it stays this way with a little bit of love and attention - here's our top tips on how to perfectly care for your linen from washing to storing and everything in between.
How often should I wash my Amurelle bedding?
At Amurelle HQ we love nothing more than hopping into fresh linen sheets so our biased recommendation is changing over every week. If that's too much of a commitment for you, every other week is totally sufficient!
How do I wash my Breeze Linen?
There is a misconception that bedding needs to be washed at extreme temperature's in order for it to come out clean. We recommend saving your sheets and the planet by washing on your regular cycle at 40 degrees.
A top tip is to use liquid laundry detergent and skip out on the fabric softener as this can weaken the fibres of your washed linen bedding and it's also not great for our oceans.
How should I dry my Breeze Linen?
We recommend tumble drying on a low heat setting or hanging out to dry (risky business in most seasons!) - our top tip is to pop your fresh sheets onto your bed when they're 80% dry as they'll fully dry on the bed and this way it's easier to flatten out the creases with your hands!
Should I iron my Breeze Linen?
If like us in Amurelle HQ you like saving time, then hit the snooze button and skip the ironing. The huge positive of linen bedding is that it's naturally relaxed and requires little no faffing to look great on your bed every day!
If you do prefer a more preened bedding look, then turn your sheets inside out and iron on a low heat setting for a perfectly polished look.
