Bedding Care Guide
Keep your Amurelle items looking their best with these general care tips:
- Avoid products containing benzoyl peroxide, alpha hydroxy acids and chlorine bleach. These items may include: skin care and acne medication, hair products and dyes, cosmetics, toothpastes and household cleaning products.
- For stain removal, try Vanish/Oxiclean instead of bleach.
- Do not use fabric softeners, dryer sheets, harsh liquid or powdered detergents.
- Don't wash with clothing – zippers, hooks, etc. cause abrasion.
- Wash similar items together – same colour and fabric.
Hero Cotton
- Wash in their own cycle on a warm setting, we recommend liquid detergent as it is gentler on textiles and the environment.
- Shake well to release crinkles and hang flat over washing line to dry or tumble dry on a warm heat setting until 80% dry, shake to release steam & hang inside until fully dry.
- To iron, turn inside out & iron on the 'cotton' heat setting.
Breeze linen
- Wash in their own cycle on a warm setting (40-60 degrees celsius) with liquid detergent preferably, do not use bleach or detergent with optical brighteners.
- Shake well to release crinkles and hang flat over washing line to dry or tumble dry on a low-medium heat setting until 80% dry, shake to release steam & hang inside until fully dry.
- Creases are part of the beauty of natural linen & we recommend embracing this. If you feel your sheets need an iron, turn inside out & use medium heat setting while the linen is 80% dry.
